Ahmad Zamroni, or Roni, is Documentary, Editorial, Portrait Photographer & Videographer in Indonesia.

He began his career as a photojournalist in 2002. After nearly eight years working as a Photo Editor at Forbes Indonesia, he has resigned from the publication. Before Forbes Indonesia, Roni had worked as a Photo Journalist at Agence France Presse (AFP) and Kompas Cyber Media. Now, he’s focusing on developing Hati Kecil Visual (HKV), a creative visual agency that offers photography, videography, multimedia services for both local and global markets, either editorial or corporate needs.

During the years working as a photographer, Zamroni, or Roni, who holds a Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Geography in Gadjah Mada University, has participated in a number of photo exhibitions in Singapore and Malaysia. In 2011 some of his works were presented at the exhibition “Through Asian Eyes” by Nikon Asia. Roni was also a mentor in photography workshops during “10th Nikon Malaysia Anniversary” in Malaysia.

In 2013, Roni co-founded 1000kata.com which is headquartered in Jakarta. In 2014, along with three of his friends, he published a photo book ‘NESW’ and in 2015, with nine photographers, he published a photo book “#iniNegriku A VISUAL JOURNEY”.
