Ahmad Zamroni is a Jakarta-based photographer and visual storyteller with over two decades of experience in editorial, portrait, corporate, and travel photography. He began his career as a photojournalist for Kompas Cyber Media in 2002, later joining Agence France-Presse (AFP), where he covered major news, politics, and cultural issues across Indonesia. His photographs have been published in The International Herald Tribune (IHT), Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, TIME LightBox, Bloomberg Businessweek, National Geographic Indonesia, Digital Camera, and DestinAsian, among others. His work has also been featured in the internationally acclaimed exhibition and photobook Civilization: The Way We Live Now, where he contributed a striking photo essay exploring spirituality and Islamic faith in Indonesia—the world’s most populous Muslim country.
With a documentary eye and a cinematic touch, Roni continues to craft meaningful visual narratives. Whether working with editorial clients, corporations, or cultural institutions, he brings a deep sense of presence, humanity, and visual coherence to every frame.
